Can I rent a boat without a license in Chia?
Yes! Our 40hp fleet (Selva 5.70, Salpa Soleil 20, and the new Mar-sea Comfort) can be driven without any boating license. Before departure, our team provides a comprehensive safety and navigation briefing — it's easy and fun.
Is there parking near Chia beach?
Yes, there's a large paid parking lot at the entrance to Su Giudeu (Chia) beach, with space for cars and campers. We send the exact GPS location via WhatsApp to all guests at the time of booking.
What types of boats do you offer?
WaveProject has the most complete fleet in South Sardinia: no-license dinghies (Selva, Salpa, Mar-sea), premium RIBs (Milano Marine), luxury RIBs with skipper (G-Tender with fuel included), motor yachts (Atlantis 55, Mirage 44, Nautilix), sailing charters (Bavaria 56), jet skis, and stand-up paddleboards.
Is fuel included in the rental price?
Fuel is not included for most standard rentals and is paid upon return based on actual consumption. Exception: for the G-Tender Luxury RIB and certain guided tours, fuel is included in the package.
What happens in case of bad weather?
Your safety is our top priority. If sea conditions are unsafe (Red Flag), we offer to reschedule your date for free or provide a full refund of your deposit. Our captains constantly monitor local weather conditions.
Are dogs allowed on the boats?
Yes, WaveProject is pet-friendly! Well-behaved dogs are welcome on our exclusive rental RIBs. Bring fresh water and sun protection for them. Note: there may be restrictions on shared luxury tours.
Where can I go with the boat from Chia?

Can I get a skipper with my rental?
Absolutely. You can book any of our boats with a professional skipper. For luxury vessels (G-Tender, Atlantis 55, Mirage 44, Bavaria 56), the captain is always included for a worry-free VIP experience.
