From our base you can reach Tuerredda — often voted one of Italy’s best beaches — in roughly 20 minutes, anchor off the dramatic cliffs of Capo Malfatano for snorkelling, or push further west toward Cala Zafferano, a hidden beach reachable only by boat. The Selva’s low fuel consumption means the entire south coast of Sardinia is within comfortable reach, even on a half-day rental.

Do I need a boating license to rent the Selva Marine?
No. The Selva Marine 5.70 is classified as a no-license boat in Italy. Anyone aged 18 or over can drive it after a short safety briefing at our base on Su Giudeu beach.
How many people can fit on board?
The Selva Marine is certified for up to 6 passengers. For maximum comfort, we recommend 2–4 people so everyone has space to sunbathe and move freely.
Is fuel included in the price?
Fuel is not included. You receive the boat with a full tank and pay only for what you use. Thanks to its lightweight hull, the Selva is extremely fuel-efficient — expect around €20–€30 for a return trip to Tuerredda.
Where do I pick up the boat?
Departure is from Su Giudeu beach in Chia (c/o Arveskida Beach Club), Viale Spartivento 60, Domus de Maria. We’ll meet you at the beach for the briefing and get you on the water in about 10 minutes.
Is the Selva Marine suitable for beginners?
Absolutely — it’s our most recommended boat for first-time renters. The lightweight hull and straightforward controls make it very easy to handle, even if you’ve never driven a boat before.
How much fuel does a typical trip cost?
A half-day trip to Tuerredda and back costs roughly €20–€30 in fuel. A full-day adventure reaching Capo Malfatano or Cala Zafferano may cost around €40–€50. The Selva Marine is the most fuel-efficient boat in our fleet.
Does the boat have a fresh water shower?
No, the Selva Marine 5.70 does not have an onboard shower. If that’s important for your trip, we recommend upgrading to the Mar-sea Comfort or the Salpa Soleil 20, both of which include a fresh water shower.
What beaches can I reach with this boat?
From Su Giudeu you can reach Cala Cipolla in 5 minutes, Tuerredda in about 20 minutes, Capo Malfatano in 25 minutes, and even the remote Cala Zafferano in roughly one hour. Check our itinerary map for suggested routes and estimated sailing times.
